Sarah Brown
Bio:
Sarah Brown is a former principal dancer who is recognized both nationally and internationally as both a performer and teacher. In 2014 Sarah was the 13th Australian at the time to be invited to join the international dance council based in Paris where she was the very first Australian to perform at an international council event as well as teach a ballet masterclass to over thirty teachers from all over the world in Greece.
Sarah has been in the dance industry for over 40 years and trained at some of the world’s best institutions from the Queensland Ballet, WAAPA to the Conservatoire in Paris performing multiple roles in both classical and contemporary with both national and International choreographers and companies before becoming a principal dancer in Melbourne for 12 years.
Sarah has been a qualified dance teacher for over 20 years with the Australian Institute of Classical Dance with capabilities of teaching all age groups and levels from tiny babies to professionals in open classes in different genres as well as multiple syllabi from Russian to Rad.
Sarah is often in demand for masterclasses, workshops and choreography for competitions and performances as well as exam preparation Australia wide and internationally and has been a guest examiner for many dance schools nationally.
